Pete Wilson, Nimiipuu, talks about his involvement in the Redheart Memorial and his role in the pipe ceremony.

Bio:

Maurice “Pistol Pete” Wilson is a Nimiipuu tribal member who grew up on the Nez Perce reservation at Lapwai, Idaho. He graduated from Lapwai High School and joined the Navy. Following that he worked many various positions for the tribe, and currently works for the National Park Service.
