In 2021, the Vancouver Land Bridge underwent refurbishment. The improvements included new artworks by Lillian Pitt (Warm Springs) at the People Overlook, new name plates for Indigenous words for People, replaced historic panels, and new pathway pavers replacing deteriorated decomposed granite. The Land Bridge was designed by renowned architect Johnpaul Jones. At the ceremony, Confluence also dedicated a tree planted in honor of our Founding Director Jane Jacobsen.
