This event is organized by our partners.
Friends of Trees is partnering with the Sandy River Watershed Council and Friends of the Sandy River Delta with support from the US Forest Service, Ash Creek Forestry Management, Daimler Trucks, the Portland Trailblazers, the Nature Conservancy, and the Boeing Company to continue native seedling plantings at the Sandy River Delta. This planting event is open to humans and dogs alike! Well behaved, four-legged friends on leashes are welcome to attend.
Please arrive around 8:45am to be registered and assigned to a crew. The planting will start promptly at 9:00am. We provide breakfast snacks and hot chocolate/coffee, as well as gloves, tools and guidance. Please come dressed for the weather and wearing sturdy, closed-toe shoes and get ready to have fun!
