Courtney Yilk

Program Manager

Courtney Yilk works with organizational partners to dream and scheme meaningful ways to engage the public with a richer, more inclusive narrative of the Columbia River region. Childhood road trips to see family in the midwest and attending college in the southwest cemented a deep appreciation of land, the people connected to it, as well as cultural erasure and the legacy of injustice Native Americans have faced since colonization. She is grateful to combine her personal experiences, degrees in Anthropology and Museum Studies, and professional experiences to help elevate indigenous voices in our collective understanding of place, in hopes of a more just future.
