You are invited to participate in the Nimiipuu Historical Site Tour. This event is hosted by Nez Perce Tourism, not Confluence.
During this tour you are invited to visit three historical sites we call home. Experience Chief Timothy Park where Nimiipuu (Nez Perce) guide will discuss the historical significance of the area and introduce you to Confluence Listening Circle linking the past, present and future. Next stop is Lewis Clark Discovery Center of Hells Gate State Park where you will be enlightened by the knowledge of tribal member and author of Lewis & Clark Amoung the Nez Perce. Lastly is a guided tour through Nez Perce National Historical Park.
This is not just a historical site tour but a Nimiipuu lead tour visiting a culture, history and ecology of The People-Nimiipuu.
Inclusive Itinerary:
9am Nimiipuu welcome located inside the Clearwater River Casino in Lewiston, ID.
9:30am Depart from Clearwater River Casino travel to Chief Timothy. Nimiipuu guide and transportation provided.
11:00am Arrive at Lewis Clark Discovery Center inside Hells Gate State Park.
12:30 Arrive at Nez Perce National Historical Park.
1:30pm Reflection circle and departure
2:00pm Return to Clearwater River Casino
