Confluence is honored to work with Gerard Rodriguez, Yaqui and Nahua, to offer these walks at the Vancouver Land Bridge. Gerard shares native plants, their regional uses, and cultural material representational of Indigenous culture along the lower Columbia River.
The tour start at the Confluence Tent (Gray and Orange) at the Old Apple Tree Festival in Old Apple Tree Park, 168 SE Columbia Way, Vancouver, WA 98661.
The Old Apple Tree Festival is a family-friendly, free event offers live music, tree care workshops, Vancouver Land Bridge tours, kids’ hands-on arts and crafts, and food for purchase. The popular free apple pressing also returns to the event, and the public is encouraged to bring clean apples and containers to participate. Hours are from 11 am -3 pm.
