We are excited to share about our first Confluence Learning Community Conference, scheduled for Saturday, May 25, 2024! We have expanded registration to people outside the Confluence Learning Community.
We launched Confluence Learning Community in October 2022 as a virtual space for educators to continue their learning after attending Tribal History Shared History and Since Time Immemorial Professional Development. We created a space where we could share successes and challenges around implementing TH/SH and STI in your classes, schools, districts, and organizations. We also created a space for Native elders/educators to share their personal stories and experiences.
As the pandemic subsided, we started to dream of a conference — IN PERSON — where we could bring the fabulous CLC sessions and speakers and participants to life! A place where we can gather alongside Native Educators and have space for everyone to connect, learn and grow alongside each other.
