Presented by Confluence Emerging Indigenous Artist Mersaedy Atkins.
This workshop is part of Páwiič’aakt’s newly established “Páax̣amit Design School” (Powwow Regalia Making School). We are excited to offer our community the opportunity to learn how to tan hides. We have some amazing Instructors coming down from Canada to share with you some some of their teachings and skills. We look forward to a fabulous week with lots of good times and great laughs. Please be sure to register you and your family. At this time, this camp is primarily for Yakama Valley residents and those with Indigenous/tribal affiliation. We are hoping to have more Hide Tanning Camps throughout the year.
