Design Week Portland has been shifted to August 1st through 8th, due to concerns over the coronavirus. The new date and time for the hike will be announced shortly.

Combining natural history, culture and design, the Confluence Bird Blind asks us to consider evolving land ethic and one’s role in a sustainable future. Join Confluence for this informative hike through the significantly restored Sandy River Delta and discuss using design as a means to greater ecological awareness. Lin and Confluence are bringing landscape installations and ecological restoration to six locations along the Columbia River System. The hike is a flat, 2.4 miles roundtrip. The group will meet at the kiosk near the restrooms.

ACCESSIBILITY

This is a 1.2 mile, graveled ADA trail. Most likely with a few puddles.
