Courtney Yilk works with our organizational partners to dream and scheme meaningful ways to engage the public with a richer, more inclusive narrative of the Columbia River region. Her childhood trips across the Midwest and her college years in the Southwest instilled a love of intergenerational stories and landscape. These were experiences in which she recognized and understood the injustices served to Native people. She has degrees in Anthropology and Museum Studies but she revels in the fact that works to help elevate indigenous voices in our collective understanding of place, in hopes of a more just future.
