Join us for a series of miniature work parties to mulch, landscape, prune, sweep, and pick up trash on the Vancouver Land Bridge! Each work party will have 2-3 teams and each team is capped at 4 for COVID safety.

COVID Guidelines from the City of Vancouver

Before attendance at a volunteer event please complete form below and agree to the release of liability and waiver. During the Covid-19 pandemic our events will be limited for number of volunteer attendees. If you do not receive a confirmation email before the event please plan to stay home OR if your plans change please let us know so can fill your slot.

Face coverings are required for Washingtonians in public spaces, as mandated by a Washington State public health order. City of Vancouver programs and services comply with this mandate and face coverings must be worn when participating in volunteer projects.

If you do not have a face covering, one will be provided on-site. If you cannot afford one, the Council for the Homeless and Share Vancouver are distributing free face coverings.

Please note, it is not recommended that individuals who are at higher risk of COVID-19 complications participate in volunteer events. If you are at higher risk or are unable to wear a face shield while volunteering please contact the Volunteer program in advance of the volunteer event and we will offer an alternative service option.

COVID 19 agreements:

i. Wearing a cloth or disposable mask at all timess
ii. Maintaining a distance of 6 feet from all other volunteers, members of the public, and COV staff at all times.
iii. Sanitizing hands before and after using COV tools, pens for sign in, shared supplies such as tarps, bathrooms, etc.
iv. Notifying the event leader immediately if abnormal symptoms appear before, during, or after the event.
v. Agreeing to a temperature check at the beginning of each opportunity.
