Annual Appeal Ends + Gift for Monthly Donors

January 3, 2019

Thank you to all of the Friends and Legacy Makers who made the 2018 Confluence Annual Appeal a huge success! We heard from 68 donors who gave more than $16,000 to support this important work!

Your gift helps Confluence connect students, visitors and communities with the history, living cultures and ecology of the Columbia River system through Indigenous voices.

Along the way, Skamania Lodge near Stevenson, WA stepped up to provide a special incentive offer of a one night stay and dinner for two. We put the names of everyone we heard from in a hat and drew our winners: Congratulations to Confluence Friends Ellen Miyasato and John Benjes! And thanks to the managers at Skamania Lodge for generously donating this special gift of support for Confluence.

One more big thank you: Warm Springs "fisher-preneurs" Brigette and Sean McConville allowed us to offer a can of their Columbia River salmon to each Friend who opted to donate monthly. This was such a success we're going to keep this up indefinitely. Now anyone who chooses the monthly gift option on our Donate Now page will enjoy this special gift from Salmon King Fisheries. Thanks Brigette and Sean!
