Jane Jacobsen

Jane Jacobsen, executive director of the Confluence Project and a member of its board of directors, has worked with or overseen artists, theater groups, museum exhibits and heritage projects for more than 17 years. She was instrumental in bringing nationally recognized speakers to the Marshall Lecture Series in Vancouver, Washington, including Bill Richardson, Madeline Albright and Tom Brokaw. Jacobsen has also codeveloped programs and exhibits to celebrate the history of the Pacific Northwest through folk art which were viewed by thousands of people for more than 10 years.

In 2001, Washington State Governor Gary Locke appointed Jacobsen to a four-year term as one of 13 commissioners on the Columbia Gorge Commission, which oversees the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area Act.

Andrew Brahe

Andrew Brahe is a project manager for the Confluence Project. A graduate of Portland State University, he holds a bachelor of science in architecture with an emphasis in project management. Andrew is reponsible for managing the scope, schedule and budget of each project site.

Walter Cook

Walter Cook, the Confluence Project finance director, serves as a member of the fundraising team. Walt is responsible for budget and expense management, development and fundraising efforts, managing grant and foundation requests, and supporting all campaign efforts, including comprehensive out-processing of all Confluence Project proposals, insuring their accuracy and timely execution. Walt also provides leadership through his volunteer efforts in community engagement, events, and educational initiatives.

Bob Friedenwald

Bob Friedenwald is a senior advisor for the Confluence Project. He spent 27 years as a career officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, serving in command and staff assignments in the U.S. and overseas. As commander of the Corps' Portland District in Oregon, Friedenwald was responsible for recovery work after the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. He also served as executive director of the Corps of Engineers Civil Works Directorate at Corps Headquarters in Washington, D.C. Friedenwald is currently a senior advisor with Dawson & Associates, a Washington, D.C.-based government relations firm that is exploring innovative and cooperative processes to clean up the Willamette River Superfund site in Portland, Oregon.

Judy Odenheimer

Judy Odenheimer, project coordinator, supports multiple teams and activities including Confluence site project management, fundraising, events, vounteer coordination and communications.
